AdBlue® 1000L IBC Pod Shuttle | DEF ISO 22241 | AUS 32 | DIN 70070 | Shipped from Melbourne

Product Overview

AdBlue® 1000L IBC Pod Shuttle is a high-purity Diesel Exhaust Fluid supplied for commercial fleets, transport depots, workshops, agricultural operations, construction sites, mining businesses and industrial facilities operating SCR-equipped diesel vehicles and machinery.

Formulated as AUS 32, the fluid contains a nominal concentration of 32.5% high-purity automotive-grade urea and 67.5% demineralised water.

The 1000-litre Intermediate Bulk Container provides an economical on-site supply for organisations with regular or high-volume Diesel Exhaust Fluid requirements.

The IBC can be connected to a compatible pump, suction assembly, delivery hose, flow meter and dispensing nozzle to create a dedicated filling point for multiple vehicles and machines.

AdBlue® 1000L is shipped from Melbourne and supplied ready to use. It must not be diluted, mixed or modified before dispensing.

AdBlue® 1000L is supplied as a traceable AUS 32 Diesel Exhaust Fluid. Product quality and conformity are supported through the applicable batch and supply documentation.

Key Features and Benefits

High-Purity AUS 32 Formulation

The fluid contains a nominal concentration of 32.5% automotive-grade urea combined with 67.5% demineralised water.

The concentration is carefully controlled to support accurate dosing and the correct chemical reaction within SCR exhaust after-treatment systems.

SCR systems contain sensitive pumps, dosing modules, injectors, sensors and catalysts. Product purity is essential because contaminated or diluted fluid may cause crystallisation, deposits, warning lights and component damage.

ISO 22241

AdBlue® 1000L meets the applicable requirements of ISO 22241.

ISO 22241 covers:

  • Product composition and quality
  • Testing methods
  • Transportation requirements
  • Storage conditions
  • Handling procedures
  • Dispensing equipment
  • Refilling interfaces
  • Equipment compatibility
  • Product identification

Maintaining fluid quality after delivery is essential. Contamination introduced during storage or dispensing may affect the product even when it originally met the required standard.

DIN 70070

The fluid also meets the stated DIN 70070 performance level associated with AUS 32 aqueous urea solution used in SCR exhaust-treatment systems.

Economical 1000-Litre Supply

The IBC format is suitable for businesses operating multiple vehicles or machines with regular Diesel Exhaust Fluid consumption.

Bulk purchasing can reduce the cost per litre compared with smaller containers and decrease the number of individual packages handled on site.

A single IBC can provide a central filling point for trucks, buses, machinery and commercial vehicles.

Ready to Dispense

The fluid is supplied at the correct AUS 32 concentration and is ready to transfer into the dedicated Diesel Exhaust Fluid reservoir.

No dilution, additives or chemical treatment are required.

Compatible with Bulk Dispensing Equipment

The IBC can be fitted with a compatible pump, hose, flow meter and dispensing nozzle.

All equipment must be suitable for AUS 32 and dedicated exclusively to Diesel Exhaust Fluid. Equipment previously used for diesel, lubricants or coolant may introduce damaging contamination.

Supports Fleet Maintenance

A bulk IBC allows Diesel Exhaust Fluid checks and top-ups to be incorporated into routine servicing, pre-start inspections and fleet-maintenance schedules.

Maintaining an adequate on-site supply can help businesses respond promptly to dashboard warnings and reduce avoidable downtime.

Shipped from Melbourne

The product is dispatched from Melbourne, Victoria.

This provides a practical supply point for metropolitan Melbourne, regional Victoria and interstate customers.

Freight charges and delivery arrangements depend on the destination, site access, unloading facilities and required transport service.

Suitable Applications

AdBlue® 1000L is suitable for compatible SCR-equipped:

  • Prime movers and heavy trucks
  • Light and medium commercial vehicles
  • Buses and coaches
  • Commercial vans and diesel utes
  • Agricultural tractors
  • Harvesters and farm machinery
  • Construction equipment
  • Earthmoving machinery
  • Mining equipment
  • Forklifts and material-handling equipment
  • Waste-collection vehicles
  • Municipal and council fleets
  • Stationary diesel engines
  • SCR-equipped diesel generators
  • Transport and logistics fleets
  • Commercial workshops
  • Fleet-maintenance facilities

Not every diesel engine requires Diesel Exhaust Fluid. Confirm the vehicle or equipment requirements before filling.

How AdBlue® Works

Diesel engines can generate nitrogen oxides during combustion. Selective Catalytic Reduction systems are designed to reduce these emissions after combustion.

AdBlue® is stored separately from diesel fuel. During operation, the SCR system injects a controlled quantity into the hot exhaust stream before the catalyst.

The heat converts the aqueous urea solution into ammonia. Inside the SCR catalyst, the ammonia reacts with nitrogen oxides and converts them primarily into nitrogen and water.

The vehicle controls the dosing rate automatically according to engine load, exhaust temperature, operating conditions and system calibration.

AdBlue® does not improve fuel combustion, lubricate the engine or clean diesel injectors. Its function is limited to the SCR exhaust after-treatment process.

Handling and Storage Advice

Store the IBC upright on a stable, level and load-rated surface in a clean, dry and well-ventilated location.

Keep all openings, valves, seals and fittings securely closed and protected when not in use.

Protect the product from direct sunlight and prolonged exposure to excessive heat. Store the IBC indoors or beneath suitable cover where practical.

Use only dedicated pumps, hoses, fittings, flow meters and nozzles suitable for AUS 32.

Equipment previously used for diesel, lubricating oil, coolant or other chemicals must not be used unless professionally cleaned and confirmed compatible.

Prevent contamination by diesel, oil, grease, coolant, tap water, dust, rust and incompatible metals.

AdBlue® begins to freeze at approximately –11°C. Allow frozen product to thaw completely and naturally before dispensing. Do not add water, antifreeze or other substances.

Never attempt to move a full IBC manually. Use a forklift, pallet jack or other load-rated materials-handling equipment operated by trained personnel.

Inspect the IBC regularly for damage, leaks, broken seals or signs of contamination.

Wear suitable gloves and eye protection when connecting equipment or cleaning spills. Prevent uncontrolled discharge into drains, soil, stormwater systems or waterways.

Dispensing Instructions

Confirm that the vehicle requires Diesel Exhaust Fluid meeting ISO 22241.

Install a clean and compatible IBC dispensing system according to the equipment manufacturer’s instructions.

Inspect the outlet valve and fittings before connection. Attach the pump or suction assembly securely before opening the valve.

Locate the vehicle’s dedicated Diesel Exhaust Fluid filler, commonly identified by a blue cap. Switch off the engine before filling.

Dispense the required quantity without overfilling. Return the nozzle to a clean holder and protect the system after use.

Important Warnings

AdBlue® is not diesel fuel and is not a fuel additive.

Never add AdBlue® to:

  • The diesel fuel tank
  • The engine-oil system
  • The cooling system
  • The hydraulic system
  • The transmission
  • The windscreen-washer reservoir

Never add diesel, oil, coolant, tap water or additives to the IBC.

If AdBlue® is accidentally added to the diesel tank, do not start the engine. Contact a qualified repairer immediately.
