Description

Bluequip Pro 240V IBC-Mounted Dispensing Kit for AdBlue® | Automatic Nozzle & Digital Meter

Product Overview

The Bluequip Pro 240V IBC-Mounted Dispensing Kit is a complete electric transfer solution designed for dispensing AdBlue® Diesel Exhaust Fluid from a compatible IBC. With a self-priming pump, digital flow meter, automatic shut-off nozzle and six-metre delivery hose, the kit provides a practical dispensing point for workshops, fleet depots, transport yards, farms and industrial facilities operating diesel vehicles or machinery equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction systems.

The IBC-mounted configuration keeps the principal dispensing components organised around the fluid container. A stainless-steel bracket provides a secure mounting position and incorporates a nozzle holder for clean storage between uses. The bottom suction arrangement draws fluid from the IBC outlet without requiring an open-container transfer process.

Its 240V electric pump delivers a nominal flow rate of up to 35 litres per minute, helping operators fill vehicle and equipment tanks efficiently without manual pumping. The digital meter displays the transferred quantity, while the automatic nozzle provides controlled dispensing and is designed to stop flow when the receiving tank reaches the appropriate full level.

This equipment is intended for dedicated use with AdBlue®, Diesel Exhaust Fluid or AUS 32. It must not be used for diesel, petrol, lubricating oil, coolant, solvents or other liquids unless the equipment manufacturer has expressly confirmed compatibility.

AdBlue® is a registered trade mark of the Verband der Automobilindustrie e.V. (VDA).

Key Features and Benefits

Complete IBC-Mounted Dispensing Package

The Bluequip Pro kit combines the principal components required for transferring AdBlue® from an IBC into compatible vehicle and equipment tanks. The pump, meter, hose, nozzle, bracket and suction system are supplied as a coordinated dispensing package, reducing the need to select separate components individually.

The IBC-mounted format is particularly useful for businesses moving from small containers to bulk fluid handling. It establishes a dedicated dispensing point beside the IBC while helping keep the equipment organised and accessible.

Self-Priming 240V Electric Pump

The electric pump removes the physical effort associated with manual rotary or lever-operated pumps. Once correctly installed and primed in accordance with the operating instructions, it provides powered transfer from the IBC to the receiving tank.

A standard 240V configuration makes the kit suitable for fixed locations where an appropriate electrical supply is available, including fleet workshops, service facilities, transport depots and machinery sheds.

Flow Rate of Up to 35 Litres per Minute

With a nominal flow rate of up to 35 litres per minute, the pump supports efficient transfer into trucks, buses, agricultural machinery, construction equipment and other SCR-equipped diesel assets.

Actual delivery performance can vary depending on the installation, fluid temperature, hose arrangement, suction conditions, receiving tank configuration and equipment condition. Operators should select a safe dispensing rate for the receiving tank and remain present throughout the transfer.

Digital Flow Meter

The integrated digital flow meter displays the quantity transferred during dispensing. This assists operators who need to record consumption, allocate fluid to individual vehicles or machinery, monitor general usage or compare dispensed quantities with site stock records.

The meter is intended to support operational monitoring. Where a transaction requires legally verified trade measurement, the purchaser should confirm whether the meter and installation meet the applicable regulatory requirements before use.

Automatic Shut-Off Nozzle

The supplied automatic nozzle is designed to provide familiar, controlled dispensing and stop flow when the receiving tank reaches the appropriate fill level. This can help reduce the risk of overfilling when the nozzle is correctly inserted and operated.

The nozzle must still be attended throughout filling. Automatic shut-off performance can be affected by tank geometry, fill-neck design, nozzle position, fluid splashback or operating conditions. The operator remains responsible for monitoring the filling process and stopping immediately if the tank approaches capacity or fluid begins to escape.

Six-Metre Delivery Hose

The 6-metre, 3/4-inch internal-diameter delivery hose provides useful reach between the IBC and nearby vehicles or equipment. This can simplify positioning at workshop and depot dispensing points where moving the IBC for every fill would be inconvenient.

The hose should be routed so it does not create a trip hazard, contact sharp edges or become exposed to vehicle traffic. After use, it should be returned to a clean, protected position without tight bends or kinks.

Stainless-Steel IBC Bracket

A stainless-steel mounting bracket provides a strong and corrosion-resistant location for the pump assembly. The integrated nozzle holder helps keep the dispensing nozzle off the ground and reduces the likelihood of contamination between uses.

The bracket also creates a neater installation by keeping the dispensing components together. Before use, confirm that it is correctly secured and does not interfere with the IBC structure, outlet valve or safe access around the container.

Bottom Suction Arrangement

The supplied bottom suction kit connects the pumping system to the lower outlet of a compatible IBC. This arrangement supports enclosed fluid transfer and avoids placing an improvised suction tube through the top opening of the container.

IBC outlet types and adaptors can vary. Confirm the connection type and suitability of the IBC before installation. Do not force incompatible fittings or use unapproved adaptors that could leak or introduce contamination.

Why Dedicated Equipment Matters

AdBlue® and other AUS 32 Diesel Exhaust Fluids must remain clean during storage and dispensing. Contamination by diesel fuel, lubricating oil, coolant, dust, dirt or unsuitable materials can affect fluid quality and may damage a vehicle’s dosing equipment or SCR after-treatment system.

For this reason, the Bluequip Pro system should remain dedicated to DEF service from installation onward. Equipment previously used with fuel, oil or chemicals should not be repurposed for dispensing AdBlue® merely by flushing it.

Operators should also avoid topping up through dirty funnels, open buckets or general-purpose transfer equipment. A dedicated pump, enclosed hose and correctly stored nozzle provide a more controlled method of moving fluid from an IBC into the receiving tank.

Suitable Applications

The Bluequip Pro 240V IBC-Mounted Dispensing Kit is suitable for commercial and industrial locations that regularly dispense AdBlue®, including:

  • Heavy-vehicle workshops
  • Truck and transport depots
  • Bus and coach operators
  • Logistics and distribution centres
  • Agricultural machinery facilities
  • Construction and earthmoving yards
  • Mining and quarry maintenance areas
  • Municipal and council vehicle depots
  • Diesel generator installations
  • Equipment-hire businesses
  • Fleet service facilities
  • Industrial sites operating SCR-equipped machinery

Compatible vehicles and equipment may include prime movers, rigid trucks, buses, diesel vans, tractors, harvesters, loaders, excavators, graders, cranes, generators and other diesel-powered assets fitted with an AdBlue® or DEF tank.

Compatibility should always be confirmed against the vehicle or equipment manufacturer’s requirements.

Installation Guidance

Position the IBC on a level, stable and load-rated surface in a location that allows vehicles or machinery to approach safely. The area should provide adequate room for hose handling without requiring operators to stand in traffic paths or stretch the hose beyond its intended reach.

Inspect the IBC outlet and verify that the supplied suction connection is compatible. Secure the stainless-steel bracket as directed by the manufacturer, then connect the suction assembly, pump, meter, hose and nozzle without introducing dirt into the wetted components.

Before applying power, ensure the IBC valve and every connection are in the correct operating position. Check the hose for twisting, abrasion or sharp bends. Confirm that the pump switch is off before connecting it to the electrical supply.

Prime and commission the system in accordance with the supplied instructions. During the first operation, inspect every joint for leakage and verify that the flow meter and nozzle operate correctly. If the system does not prime promptly, stop the pump and check the suction path rather than allowing the pump to operate dry for an extended period.

Operating Instructions

Before dispensing, identify the correct AdBlue® or DEF filler on the receiving vehicle. The diesel fuel filler and DEF filler are separate and must never be confused.

Remove the nozzle from its holder and inspect it for dirt, oil, fuel residue or crystallised deposits. Insert it securely into the receiving tank’s fill neck before starting the pump. Operate the nozzle gradually and monitor the displayed quantity, hose position and receiving tank throughout the transfer.

When filling is complete, release the nozzle trigger and switch off the pump. Allow residual flow to stop before withdrawing the nozzle. Return it to the holder without allowing the nozzle tip to contact the ground, machinery surfaces or contaminated objects.

Record the transferred quantity where site inventory or fleet records require it. Investigate unexpected meter readings, reduced flow or repeated nozzle shut-off before continuing regular use.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Inspect the hose, electrical cable, plug, meter, nozzle, bracket and suction fittings at regular intervals. Replace damaged components with parts approved for use with AdBlue® or AUS 32.

Crystallised deposits may form when residual fluid dries around a nozzle or fitting. Fresh deposits can generally be rinsed with clean water, but cleaning should follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not introduce cleaning chemicals, fuel or lubricants into the system.

If the unit will remain unused for an extended period, follow the manufacturer’s shutdown and storage procedure. Do not dismantle electrical or pressure-containing components while the unit is connected to power.

Meters may require periodic inspection or calibration depending on the accuracy expected by the operator. Maintenance frequency should reflect dispensing volume, operating environment and the manufacturer’s recommendations.
