Description
PIUSI IBC Gravity Dispensing Kit for AdBlue® with 3m Hose and Manual Nozzle
Product Overview
The PIUSI® IBC Gravity Dispensing Kit for AdBlue® is a cost-effective, pump-free solution for transferring Diesel Exhaust Fluid from the bottom outlet of a compatible Intermediate Bulk Container or bulk storage tank.
The kit uses gravity to transfer fluid through a 3-metre clear spiral hose and PIUSI SuzzaraBlue manual dispensing nozzle. It is suitable for workshops, transport depots, agricultural operations, construction businesses, mining sites and industrial facilities that require a simple dispensing arrangement without an electric or battery-powered pump.
The kit includes a 60 × 6 IBC bottom adaptor, clear spiral delivery hose, manual nozzle and stainless-steel hose clips. These components provide the essential connections required to establish a gravity-fed dispensing line from a compatible IBC outlet.
The system is designed for transferring AdBlue® Diesel Exhaust Fluid and other manufacturer-approved compatible fluids. Where it is used for AdBlue®, the entire kit should be dedicated exclusively to that fluid to protect product purity and prevent contamination of vehicle SCR systems.

Key Features and Benefits
Genuine PIUSI Equipment
The SuzzaraBlue Gravity Kit is a genuine PIUSI fluid-transfer product developed for gravity-fed dispensing from compatible IBC and bulk-storage outlets.
Using the correct PIUSI product name, manufacturer code and brand information supports accurate product identification and allows customers to confirm compatibility before purchase.
Designed for AdBlue® Dispensing
The kit is designed for transferring AdBlue® and Diesel Exhaust Fluid from an IBC or bulk tank into the dedicated reservoir of a compatible SCR-equipped vehicle or machine.
Its hose, nozzle, adaptor and connections are intended for use with the manufacturer’s specified fluids when correctly installed and maintained.
Pump-Free Gravity Operation
The dispensing kit uses gravity rather than an electric or manual pump to move fluid from the IBC to the receiving reservoir.
This eliminates the need for mains electricity, batteries, compressed air or a separate pump assembly. It also reduces the number of mechanical components requiring installation and maintenance.
The available dispensing rate depends on factors including:
- Fluid level inside the IBC
- Height difference between the IBC outlet and receiving point
- Hose position
- Hose bends or restrictions
- Outlet-valve condition
- Fluid temperature
- Nozzle position
- IBC venting arrangement
The kit should not be purchased on the assumption that it will provide the same speed as a powered pump system.
Three-Metre Clear Spiral Hose
The supplied three-metre clear spiral hose provides practical reach between the IBC and the receiving vehicle, machine or container.
The transparent construction allows the operator to observe the presence and movement of fluid through the line.
The hose should be positioned without sharp bends, kinks or unnecessary high points that could restrict gravity flow.
PIUSI SuzzaraBlue Manual Nozzle
The kit includes a PIUSI SuzzaraBlue manual nozzle with a hose-tail inlet.
The manual nozzle gives the operator direct control over the dispensing process. The lever must be actively controlled throughout filling.
Because it is a manual nozzle, the operator must monitor the receiving reservoir and stop dispensing before overfilling occurs. An automatic shut-off function should not be assumed.
60 × 6 IBC Bottom Adaptor
The supplied 60 × 6 adaptor is intended to connect the gravity kit to a compatible IBC bottom outlet.
IBC outlet sizes and thread arrangements can vary. The customer should confirm the outlet type before installation.
The adaptor must fit correctly without cross-threading, excessive force or unauthorised modification.
Stainless-Steel Hose Clips
Stainless-steel clips are included to secure the hose connections.
The clips should be tightened sufficiently to provide a secure and leak-resistant connection without crushing or damaging the hose.
Connections should be inspected after installation and periodically during use.
No Electrical Supply Required
The gravity-fed design makes the kit suitable for storage areas and operating sites where electrical power is unavailable or unnecessary.
It can be used in workshops, farms, transport depots, construction sites and other locations where the IBC can be positioned safely to provide sufficient gravity head.
Cost-Effective Dispensing Solution
The kit provides a straightforward alternative for customers who do not require the speed, metering capability or automatic operation of a powered IBC dispensing package.
It is suitable for lower-frequency dispensing, backup applications and operations where simplicity is more important than rapid flow.
Helps Protect Fluid Quality
Dedicated AdBlue® dispensing equipment helps protect the fluid against contamination by diesel, oil, coolant, grease, dust, rust and other substances.
Contamination can affect AUS 32 quality and damage sensitive SCR pumps, injectors, sensors and catalysts.
Once installed for AdBlue®, the kit should not be used for another fluid.
Suitable Applications
The PIUSI® AdBlue® IBC Gravity Dispensing Kit is suitable for:
- Transferring AdBlue® from compatible IBCs
- Diesel Exhaust Fluid dispensing
- Commercial vehicle workshops
- Truck and transport depots
- Fleet-maintenance facilities
- Agricultural workshops
- Construction-equipment service areas
- Mining and industrial facilities
- Machinery dealerships
- Farm machinery maintenance
- Mobile and stationary SCR-equipped equipment
- Backup Diesel Exhaust Fluid dispensing
- Low-frequency IBC dispensing
- Gravity-fed bulk-storage installations
The installation must provide sufficient height difference between the fluid outlet and the receiving point for gravity flow.
How the Gravity Kit Works
The kit connects to the bottom outlet of a compatible IBC or bulk storage tank.
When the tank outlet valve and manual nozzle are opened, gravity causes fluid to travel through the clear spiral hose to the dispensing nozzle.
No separate pump is used. The pressure available at the nozzle is created by the height and volume of fluid above the outlet.
Gravity pressure gradually reduces as the fluid level falls. Dispensing speed may therefore decrease as the IBC empties.
The hose should run downward from the IBC outlet where practical. Loops, high points, tight bends and kinks can restrict flow or trap fluid.
The operator controls dispensing with the manual nozzle. The nozzle must remain attended while fluid is flowing.

Handling, Cleaning and Storage Advice
Install the IBC on a stable, level and load-rated surface designed to support the complete weight of the container, fluid and dispensing equipment.
Never place a full IBC on an improvised platform, unstable pallet, stacked loose materials or an unapproved elevated structure.
A full 1000-litre IBC can weigh more than one tonne. Use only appropriately rated lifting, supporting and handling equipment operated by trained personnel.
Confirm that the outlet valve is closed before removing the existing IBC cap or fitting the adaptor.
Keep the hose, nozzle and adaptor clean throughout installation. Do not place the nozzle or open hose ends on the floor or against contaminated workshop surfaces.
Where the kit is used for AdBlue®, reserve all components exclusively for that fluid. Do not use the same hose or nozzle for diesel, lubricating oil, coolant, water, cleaning chemicals or another product.
Protect the hose from sharp edges, moving vehicles, hot surfaces, excessive sunlight, crushing and abrasion.
Inspect the hose regularly for discolouration, hardening, cracking, cuts, kinks, swelling or leakage.
Inspect the adaptor, hose clips and nozzle for wear, damage or contamination. Tighten loose connections before use and replace damaged components.
AdBlue® can form crystalline deposits when residual fluid dries. Keep the nozzle and hose protected, and follow the manufacturer’s maintenance instructions if crystallisation becomes visible.
Do not use unsuitable cleaning chemicals. Any cleaning method must be compatible with the equipment and intended fluid.
Close the IBC valve when the kit is not being used. Store the nozzle in a clean, protected holder above ground level.
Installation Instructions
Confirm that the IBC contains a fluid approved for use with the kit.
Check that the IBC outlet uses a compatible 60 × 6 connection.
Place the IBC in its designated dispensing position before installing the kit. Ensure the container is stable and cannot move during use.
Close the IBC outlet valve completely.
Remove the protective cap carefully and keep the connection clean.
Fit the supplied IBC adaptor without cross-threading or forcing the connection.
Connect the clear spiral hose to the adaptor and secure it using the supplied stainless-steel hose clip.
Connect the opposite end of the hose to the PIUSI manual nozzle and secure the connection with the remaining hose clip.
Route the hose without sharp bends, high loops or contact with vehicle traffic.
Place the nozzle in a clean holder.
Open the IBC valve slowly and inspect all connections for leakage before dispensing.
Operating Instructions
Confirm that the receiving vehicle or machine requires AdBlue® or Diesel Exhaust Fluid meeting ISO 22241.
Locate the dedicated Diesel Exhaust Fluid filler, commonly identified by a blue cap.
Switch off the engine and follow the vehicle manufacturer’s filling instructions.
Clean the area around the filler before opening it.
Position the PIUSI manual nozzle securely in the dedicated reservoir opening.
Open the nozzle gradually and monitor the fluid flow.
Remain with the nozzle throughout the complete dispensing process.
Close the nozzle before the reservoir is overfilled.
Close the IBC outlet valve after dispensing, particularly when the system will remain unused.
Return the nozzle to its clean holder and inspect the hose and connections for leakage.
Important Safety Information
The gravity kit must not be used for petrol, diesel fuel, solvents, flammable liquids or fluids not approved by the manufacturer.
Never use the kit to add AdBlue® to:
- A diesel fuel tank
- An engine-oil system
- A cooling system
