Description
PIUSI® Rotary Hand Pump for AdBlue® | DN50 Male BSP | 2.5m Hose | F00332A5A
Product Overview
The PIUSI® Rotary Hand Pump for AdBlue® is a manually operated drum-pump kit designed for clean and controlled transfer of AdBlue® Diesel Exhaust Fluid from compatible storage drums. It provides a practical dispensing solution for workshops, transport operators, farms, construction sites and industrial facilities where electrical power or compressed air is unavailable or unnecessary.
This genuine PIUSI® pump uses a rotary-vane operating mechanism and delivers approximately 38 litres for every 100 complete handle revolutions, equivalent to approximately 380 mL per revolution under the manufacturer’s stated test conditions. Its manually powered design makes it suitable for occasional or moderate-volume dispensing without an electric motor, battery connection or pneumatic supply.
The F00332A5A configuration includes a DN50 nominal, 2-inch BSP drum connector, an adjustable suction pipe, a 2.5-metre delivery hose and a stainless-steel dispensing spout. The pump body combines stainless steel and technopolymer components, while the rotor and vanes are manufactured from technopolymer selected for compatibility with the intended urea-based fluid.
A built-in non-return valve helps retain prime and reduces unwanted siphoning after dispensing. The sturdy drum connector and rotary handle provide a stable installation when the pump is correctly assembled on a compatible drum.
This model is intended for dedicated AdBlue®, Diesel Exhaust Fluid or AUS 32 service. It must not be used for diesel, petrol, lubricating oil, waste oil, solvents or other fluids unless PIUSI has expressly approved the particular application.
AdBlue® is a registered trade mark of the Verband der Automobilindustrie e.V. (VDA).

Key Features and Benefits
Manual Operation Without Electricity
The PIUSI® F00332A5A operates entirely through the rotary hand crank. It does not require a 240V outlet, battery connection or compressed-air supply, making it suitable for locations where powered equipment is unavailable or unnecessary.
Manual operation also gives the user direct control over the dispensing rate. The handle can be rotated more slowly when filling small tanks or narrow filler openings and more consistently when transferring larger quantities.
The operator must remain in control of the system throughout dispensing. This model does not include an automatic nozzle or automatic shut-off function.
Approximately 38 Litres per 100 Revolutions
The pump has a manufacturer-stated capacity of approximately 38 litres for every 100 complete revolutions. This equates to approximately 380 mL per revolution under the stated test conditions.
Actual output may vary with fluid temperature, suction-pipe position, installation condition, hose routing, pumping speed and component wear. The figure should be treated as nominal dispensing performance rather than a calibrated measurement.
Where precise transferred quantities must be recorded, an appropriate AdBlue®-compatible flow meter should be selected and installed separately.
Rotary-Vane Pumping Mechanism
The internal rotary-vane arrangement provides consistent manual transfer as the operator turns the crank. The pump is intended to draw fluid through the adjustable suction pipe and direct it through the delivery hose to the stainless-steel spout.
The technopolymer rotor and vanes are designed to work with the intended urea-based fluid. Smooth, continuous handle movement provides better dispensing control than abrupt or excessive force.
If the handle becomes unusually difficult to turn, stop using the pump and inspect the installation. Do not use extensions or tools to force the handle.
Built-In Non-Return Valve
An integrated non-return valve helps maintain prime within the pump and reduces the possibility of unintended siphoning after the operator stops turning the handle.
The valve also supports more immediate dispensing during subsequent use, provided the equipment is correctly installed and maintained. It does not replace correct shutdown procedures, inspection or secure storage of the dispensing spout.
DN50 Male BSP Drum Connection
This version is supplied with a DN50 nominal, 2-inch BSP drum connector. It is intended for drums with a matching female BSP opening.
Drum closures vary between manufacturers. Some containers use buttress, Mauser or other thread systems that may appear similar but are not interchangeable. The drum thread must be confirmed before ordering or installing the pump.
An unsuitable adaptor can create an unstable installation, allow contamination to enter the drum or cause leakage around the connection. Only compatible, fluid-safe adaptors approved for the application should be used.
Adjustable Suction Pipe
The included suction pipe can be adjusted to suit compatible drum depths. Correct adjustment allows the inlet to reach near the bottom of the container while avoiding excessive contact or obstruction.
The suction assembly must remain clean during installation. Do not place it on a dirty floor or workbench before inserting it into the drum. Any contamination introduced through the suction pipe can be transferred directly into the dispensing system and receiving tank.
2.5-Metre Delivery Hose
The supplied 2.5-metre hose provides practical reach between the drum and nearby receiving equipment. This allows the storage drum to remain in a stable position while the operator directs the stainless-steel spout into the vehicle or machine’s dedicated DEF filler.
Route the hose to prevent kinks, sharp bends, abrasion and trip hazards. Do not drag it across rough ground or allow vehicles to drive over it.
After dispensing, drain and store the hose according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Keep it supported so its weight does not place unnecessary strain on the pump outlet.
Stainless-Steel Dispensing Spout
The kit includes a stainless-steel spout for directing fluid into the receiving tank. Stainless steel is commonly used in compatible AdBlue® dispensing equipment because it helps protect the fluid from interaction with unsuitable metals.
The spout does not provide automatic shut-off. The operator must monitor the receiving tank and stop rotating the pump handle before it becomes full.
Keep the spout in a clean holder or protected position when it is not being used. It should never contact a diesel filler, oil container, dirty funnel or contaminated surface.
Stainless-Steel and Technopolymer Construction
The pump body combines stainless steel with technopolymer components, while the internal rotor and vanes are manufactured from technopolymer. PIUSI specifies these materials for the intended AdBlue® transfer application.
This construction helps provide a balance of durability, manageable weight and chemical compatibility. The equipment must still be protected from physical impact, contamination and improper fluid use.
References to material compatibility relate to the pump’s intended transfer application. They do not certify the quality of the fluid placed in the drum.

Always confirm the correct filler location before dispensing. AdBlue® must never be added to the diesel fuel tank.
Why Dedicated AdBlue® Equipment Matters
AdBlue® is a high-purity aqueous urea solution used in compatible SCR after-treatment systems. The fluid is stored separately from diesel and must remain free from contamination during storage and dispensing.
Small amounts of diesel, petrol, lubricating oil, grease, coolant, dirt or unsuitable metals can compromise fluid quality. Contaminated fluid may cause deposits, incorrect dosing or damage within the vehicle’s SCR system.
The complete PIUSI® pump kit should therefore be labelled and reserved for AdBlue® service. It should not be temporarily used for another fluid and then returned to DEF service after basic rinsing.
The current Oila listing should not describe this F00332A5A model as suitable for diesel or lubricants. PIUSI manufactures separate pump variants for those fluids, but this product is the AdBlue® configuration.
Installation Guidance
Place the drum upright on a stable surface where it cannot be struck by vehicles or mobile equipment. Confirm that the drum opening is a compatible 2-inch BSP female thread.
Assemble the adjustable suction pipe according to the PIUSI instructions. Keep each wetted component clean during assembly. Set the pipe to the appropriate drum depth without forcing it against the base of the container.
Insert the suction assembly and carefully engage the drum connector. Tighten it securely by hand or in accordance with the supplied instructions. Do not cross-thread or overtighten the connector.
Attach the rotary handle, delivery hose and stainless-steel spout as directed. Check that the hose is correctly fitted and does not place twisting force on the pump.
Before regular use, operate the pump slowly and check all connections for leakage. Confirm that fluid travels through the hose and that pumping stops when handle rotation stops.
Operating Instructions
Identify and open the vehicle or machine’s dedicated AdBlue® filler. Check the filler cap and operator’s manual if there is any uncertainty.
Inspect the stainless-steel spout and hose before dispensing. Insert the spout securely into the receiving tank and begin turning the pump handle gradually.
Use smooth, controlled revolutions. Monitor the receiving tank and surrounding area throughout the operation. Slow the rotation rate as the tank approaches the required level.
Stop rotating the handle before the tank becomes full. Allow residual fluid to drain from the spout without spilling, then return it to a clean and protected storage position.
Close the vehicle filler and storage drum as required. Clean fresh spills promptly with water and follow site procedures for managing larger releases.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regularly inspect the rotary handle, connector, suction pipe, pump body, hose and spout. Check for cracking, loose connections, abrasion, leakage and crystallised deposits.
AdBlue® can leave white crystalline deposits when exposed liquid dries. The equipment should be washed out regularly in accordance with PIUSI and Tecalemit guidance to reduce potential crystallisation.
Use clean water for appropriate rinsing procedures. Do not return rinse water to the product drum or dispense it into a vehicle’s DEF tank.
Do not apply conventional lubricating oil or grease to wetted components unless PIUSI specifically authorises the product and procedure. Hydrocarbon contamination can compromise AdBlue® quality.
Remove damaged equipment from service immediately. Use genuine or manufacturer-approved replacement parts suitable for the specific F00332A5A configuration.
