Description
Tecalemit Rotary Pump for AdBlue® | DEF Drum Pump | TEC63205
Product Overview
The Tecalemit Rotary Pump for AdBlue® is a heavy-duty manual drum pump designed for transferring Diesel Exhaust Fluid from compatible 60-litre and 205-litre drums.
Identified by Tecalemit product code TEC63205, this rotary pump delivers approximately 300 mL of fluid per complete handle rotation. Its manually operated design provides a practical dispensing solution for workshops, transport depots, farms, construction businesses, industrial facilities and equipment service areas where access to electrical or compressed-air power may be limited.
The pump is supplied with both a 2-inch BSP adaptor and a 2-inch MAUSER adaptor, providing compatibility with commonly used drum openings. It also includes a 2-metre by 1-inch PVC delivery hose and a stainless-steel dispensing spout for controlled manual transfer.
The Tecalemit TEC63205 is suitable for transferring Diesel Exhaust Fluid and water. The pump must be washed regularly when used with Diesel Exhaust Fluid to reduce crystallisation and maintain reliable operation.
Where the pump is used for AdBlue®, it should be reserved exclusively for that fluid. Cross-contamination with diesel fuel, lubricating oil, coolant, grease, cleaning chemicals or other substances can affect the quality of the fluid and damage sensitive SCR components.

Key Features and Benefits
Designed for Diesel Exhaust Fluid
The TEC63205 is designed for transferring Diesel Exhaust Fluid from compatible drums into smaller containers, dispensing equipment or the dedicated DEF reservoirs of SCR-equipped vehicles and machinery.
Its fluid-contact components are selected for compatibility with the manufacturer’s specified fluids when the pump is installed, operated and maintained correctly.
Suitable for Use With AdBlue®
The pump can be used to transfer genuine AdBlue® Diesel Exhaust Fluid from compatible drums.
AdBlue® is a high-purity AUS 32 aqueous urea solution used in Selective Catalytic Reduction systems. Maintaining fluid purity is essential because contamination may affect SCR pumps, injectors, sensors and catalyst components.
The pump should be dedicated exclusively to AdBlue® or another single Diesel Exhaust Fluid product once placed into service for that purpose.
Manual Rotary Operation
The manually operated rotary mechanism does not require mains electricity, a battery, an electric motor or compressed air.
This makes the pump suitable for remote sites, mobile service operations, agricultural workshops and storage locations where powered dispensing equipment is not available or necessary.
Manual operation also gives the user direct control over the dispensing rate. The handle can be rotated steadily to provide controlled transfer into the receiving container or vehicle reservoir.
Approximately 300 mL Per Rotation
The pump transfers approximately 300 mL with each complete handle rotation.
This delivery rate supports practical transfer from 60-litre and 205-litre drums while allowing the operator to control the quantity dispensed.
Actual performance can vary according to fluid condition, installation, hose position, operating technique and the condition of the pump.
Suitable for 60L and 205L Drums
The TEC63205 is designed for installation on commonly used 60-litre and 205-litre drums.
This makes it suitable for users whose consumption exceeds individual retail containers but does not require a larger IBC dispensing system.
The drum should be placed upright on a stable, level and load-rated surface before the pump is installed or operated.
Two Drum Adaptors Included
The pump includes a 2-inch BSP adaptor and a 2-inch MAUSER adaptor.
These adaptors allow installation on commonly used drum openings, subject to confirmation of the thread type and dimensions of the particular container.
The adaptor must be correctly fitted and securely tightened before operation. Do not force an incompatible adaptor onto the drum opening.
Two-Metre Delivery Hose
The supplied 2-metre by 1-inch PVC hose provides practical reach between the drum and the receiving point.
The hose should be routed without sharp bends, kinks or unnecessary tension. It must be protected from vehicle traffic, sharp objects, hot surfaces and other conditions that may cause damage.
Stainless-Steel Dispensing Spout
The delivery hose includes a stainless-steel spout for controlled manual dispensing.
The spout should be kept clean and protected from dust, oil, grease, diesel fuel and workshop debris when not in use.
A dedicated clean holder or sealed storage position should be provided to prevent contamination between dispensing operations.
Heavy-Duty Commercial Use
The rotary pump is intended for heavy-duty use in automotive, agricultural and industrial applications.
It provides a practical option for workshops, fleet depots, farms, construction sites and machinery service areas that require controlled manual transfer from drums.
Reduced Dependence on Powered Equipment
Because the pump operates manually, it can be used where electrical supply is unavailable, unsuitable or unnecessary.
It can also provide a backup dispensing method where powered equipment is temporarily unavailable, provided the pump remains clean and properly maintained.
Suitable Applications
The Tecalemit Rotary Pump may be suitable for:
- Dispensing AdBlue® from compatible drums
- Transferring Diesel Exhaust Fluid
- Automotive workshops
- Truck and transport depots
- Fleet-maintenance facilities
- Agricultural workshops
- Construction-equipment service areas
- Mining and industrial maintenance sites
- Mobile service operations
- Machinery dealerships
- Commercial vehicle workshops
- Farm machinery servicing
- Water transfer
- Compatible water-soluble fluids
Chemical compatibility must be confirmed before using the pump with any fluid other than those expressly identified by the manufacturer.
A pump used for another chemical or lubricant must not subsequently be used for AdBlue® unless the manufacturer confirms that complete cleaning and reuse are appropriate. Dedicated use is the safest method of protecting Diesel Exhaust Fluid from contamination.
How the Rotary Pump Works
The TEC63205 uses a manually operated rotary mechanism to draw fluid from the drum through the suction assembly.
As the handle is rotated, the pumping mechanism creates the movement required to lift fluid from the drum and direct it through the delivery hose.
The operator controls the transfer by starting, slowing or stopping rotation of the handle.
The pump does not automatically measure the total quantity dispensed. Where accurate volume recording is required, a compatible flow meter should be installed or the receiving quantity should be measured separately.
The pump does not include an automatic shut-off function. The operator must monitor the receiving container or vehicle reservoir throughout dispensing to prevent overfilling.

Handling, Cleaning and Storage Advice
Install and operate the pump only on a stable, upright drum positioned on a level and load-rated surface.
Keep the pump, suction assembly, hose, adaptor and dispensing spout clean at all times. Do not place the spout on the floor, on machinery or against contaminated workshop surfaces.
When the pump is used for AdBlue®, reserve it exclusively for AdBlue® Diesel Exhaust Fluid. Clearly label the pump and dispensing area to prevent accidental use with diesel fuel, lubricating oil, coolant or other chemicals.
Wash the pump regularly in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions to reduce the accumulation of dried Diesel Exhaust Fluid crystals.
Do not use tap water or cleaning chemicals unless the cleaning method is approved for the pump and the fluid application. Any cleaning residue must be completely removed before the pump is returned to service.
Inspect the hose regularly for hardening, discolouration, cracking, cuts, abrasion, leakage or loose fittings. Replace damaged components before further use.
Inspect the rotary handle, adaptors, suction components and dispensing spout for damage, wear or contamination.
Store the pump in a clean, dry and protected location when it is removed from the drum. Seal or cover all open fluid connections to prevent the entry of dust, water, insects and workshop debris.
Protect the PVC hose from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, excessive heat, sharp edges, moving vehicles and other conditions that may shorten its service life.
Do not suspend or carry the complete pump by the delivery hose. Avoid twisting, crushing or sharply bending the hose during storage.
Installation Instructions
Confirm that the drum contains a fluid approved for use with the TEC63205.
Inspect the drum for damage, contamination or leakage before installation. Ensure the drum is upright, stable and positioned in a suitable dispensing area.
Identify the drum-opening thread and select either the supplied 2-inch BSP adaptor or 2-inch MAUSER adaptor.
Fit the correct adaptor without cross-threading or forcing the connection. Tighten it sufficiently to provide a stable installation.
Install the pump and suction assembly according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Ensure the suction tube reaches the appropriate depth without being forced against the bottom of the drum.
Connect the delivery hose and confirm that all fittings are secure.
Position the dispensing spout in a clean holder before the first use. Inspect the complete installation for loose fittings or visible damage.
Operate the handle slowly during initial priming. Check all connections for leakage before commencing normal dispensing.
Operating Instructions
Confirm that the receiving vehicle, machine or container is suitable for the fluid being dispensed.
For AdBlue® applications, locate the dedicated Diesel Exhaust Fluid filler. It is commonly identified by a blue cap but may be positioned differently depending on the vehicle manufacturer.
Switch off the engine and follow the vehicle manufacturer’s filling instructions.
Clean the area around the filler before opening it. Insert or position the stainless-steel spout securely.
Rotate the pump handle at a steady and controlled speed. Monitor the receiving reservoir continuously.
Stop rotating the handle before the reservoir is overfilled. Allow residual fluid in the hose and spout to drain in a controlled manner.
Return the spout to its clean holder after use. Do not allow it to contact diesel equipment, oil containers, dirty tools or the ground.
Important Safety Information
The pump does not make an incompatible or contaminated fluid suitable for use in an SCR system.
Only dispense verified Diesel Exhaust Fluid into a vehicle’s dedicated DEF reservoir.
Never use the pump to add AdBlue® to:
- A diesel fuel tank
