Description

VISPER Reusable Multi-Purpose Towels – 50 Pack, 400 × 450 mm

Product Description

VISPER Reusable Multi-Purpose Towels are strong, absorbent and versatile commercial cleaning cloths designed for use across workshops, automotive facilities, food-service environments, commercial kitchens, factories and general cleaning operations. Supplied in a convenient pack of 50 generously sized sheets, these towels provide a practical alternative to ordinary paper towels, disposable rags and inconsistent recycled textile cloths.

Each towel measures 400 × 450 mm, providing a large nominal wiping area of 0.18 square metres per sheet. The full pack offers approximately nine square metres of combined wiping material, making it suitable for businesses requiring dependable towels for repeated cleaning, drying, polishing and spill-control tasks.

The towels are supplied dry and can be used with water or a compatible workplace cleaning chemical. Depending on the application, they may be used for absorbing spills, wiping benches, cleaning equipment, applying cleaning solutions, drying surfaces or collecting grease and general contamination.

VISPER multi-purpose towels are designed to combine absorbency and wet strength with a soft wiping action. Their durable construction allows an individual sheet to be folded, refolded and used for multiple wiping passes while it remains intact and sufficiently clean for the task.

Reusable in this context means that a towel can be used several times during a compatible cleaning operation. It does not mean the towel should be used indefinitely, shared between hygiene zones or reused after exposure to hazardous substances. Replace the towel when it becomes saturated, damaged, heavily contaminated or unsuitable for the next surface.

Unlike mixed workshop rags, VISPER towels offer a consistent size and cleaning format. Recycled textile rags can contain seams, buttons, zips, embedded grit or inconsistent fibres, potentially making them unsuitable for sensitive equipment and finished surfaces. A consistent commercial towel makes stock control easier and helps businesses establish repeatable cleaning procedures.

The large 400 × 450 mm format is useful for cleaning broad surfaces and handling substantial spills. It can also be folded into a smaller wiping pad, providing several working faces for controlled cleaning of tools, components, benches and equipment.

These towels are not pre-moistened and do not contain a detergent, sanitiser, antibacterial agent or disinfectant. Any cleaning, sanitising or disinfecting result depends on the chemical applied, its concentration, the amount used, the required surface-contact time and the workplace cleaning procedure.

When using the towel in food production, commercial kitchens or other hygiene-controlled environments, the selected cleaning chemical must be suitable for the intended surface. Separate towels should be used for different cleaning zones to help prevent cross-contamination.

The current Rosche catalogue identifies product code 6332 as a 50-sheet VISPER RS75 towel measuring 250 × 450 mm. Product code 6332 should not be assigned to a 400 × 450 mm product unless the dimensions printed on the supplied packaging confirm otherwise.

HACCP-related suitability does not replace a workplace HACCP program. Cleaning-zone separation, chemical selection, food-contact procedures, employee training and contamination controls remain the responsibility of the operator.

FSC certification relates to responsible sourcing within the applicable forest-products supply chain. It does not automatically mean that used towels are recyclable or compostable. Towels contaminated with oil, grease, solvents, paint, chemicals, food waste or biological material may require controlled disposal.

The towel should not be used for electrical equipment unless the equipment has been switched off, isolated and made safe. Do not allow water or cleaning liquid to enter electrical components, control panels, ventilation openings or energised equipment.

Key Features and Benefits

Strong and Reusable Construction

VISPER Multi-Purpose Towels are designed to retain useful strength during wet and dry cleaning. A towel can be folded and refolded to expose multiple working faces, allowing more of its available surface to be used before disposal.

The towel should be replaced when it begins to tear, becomes heavily soiled or can no longer absorb contamination effectively. Continuing to use an overloaded towel may redistribute oil, dirt or abrasive particles.

High Absorbency

The absorbent wiping material helps collect water, cleaning solution, oil and general spills. This makes the towels suitable for routine maintenance, equipment cleaning and spill response.

Actual absorption depends on the liquid’s viscosity, temperature and surface behaviour. Thick grease, adhesive, paint and heavy deposits may need to be loosened or removed mechanically before final wiping.

Large 400 × 450 mm Format

Each towel provides approximately 0.18 square metres of wiping area. The generous dimensions make it possible to cover broad surfaces efficiently while also allowing the towel to be folded into a compact cleaning pad.

A folded towel can provide several clean working faces. Users can rotate or refold the sheet as contamination accumulates, helping reduce the transfer of dirt back onto cleaned areas.

Soft Wiping Action

The towel’s soft construction makes it suitable for a broad range of workplace surfaces when used correctly. This can include stainless steel, glass, workbenches, painted equipment and automotive surfaces.

Soft construction does not guarantee that every application will be scratch-free. Dirt, metal particles and abrasive residues trapped in the towel can mark delicate finishes. Always remove loose abrasive contamination before wiping.

Low-Lint Cleaning

VISPER towels are intended to provide low-lint cleaning performance compared with unsuitable paper towels and mixed textile rags. This supports cleaning of glass, polished finishes, equipment and components where loose fibres are undesirable.

Low-lint should not be interpreted as absolutely lint-free under every condition. Sharp edges, rough surfaces, aggressive rubbing and incompatible chemicals can damage the towel and increase fibre release.

Wet or Dry Use

The towel may be used dry for collecting loose dirt and dust, dampened with water for routine cleaning, or combined with a compatible detergent, degreaser or solvent.

When applying a chemical, follow its label and Safety Data Sheet. Confirm that the chemical is suitable for the towel, the work surface and the intended cleaning process.

Portable 50-Sheet Pack

The compact pack is suitable for placement in cleaning cupboards, workshops, kitchens, service vehicles and mobile maintenance kits. It provides a manageable quantity for businesses that do not require a large industrial roll.

Keeping the unused towels inside their original package helps protect them from dust, moisture, oil mist and workshop contamination.

Consistent Alternative to Rags

Commercial towels provide a consistent size and format, helping standardise cleaning procedures and consumable use. They avoid many of the uncertainties associated with mixed textile rags, including variable materials, embedded objects and unknown previous use.

Suitable for Controlled Food-Area Cleaning

Applicable VISPER products are marketed for food-industry cleaning and may be incorporated into an appropriate hygiene-management program. Towels can be allocated to individual cleaning zones and used with approved food-area chemicals.

The towel itself does not sanitise a surface. When sanitation or disinfection is required, the selected chemical must be used at its specified concentration and allowed to remain on the surface for the full required contact time.

Useful for Automotive and Workshop Cleaning

The towels can be used for wiping tools, hands protected by suitable gloves, engine components, workbenches and general workshop surfaces. They may also help collect small amounts of oil and grease during routine servicing.

They should not be used on hot exhaust components, operating machinery or exposed moving parts. Equipment must be shut down and made safe before cleaning.

Directions for Use

Remove one towel from the pack with clean, dry hands or suitable protective gloves.

For general dry wiping, fold the towel into a manageable pad and wipe the surface using controlled, overlapping strokes. Refold the sheet as contamination accumulates to expose a cleaner working face.

For water-based cleaning, dampen the towel with clean water or a correctly diluted compatible detergent. Avoid excessive saturation where liquid could enter electrical equipment, bearings, controls or other sensitive components.

For grease and oil removal, collect the bulk contamination first. Apply a compatible degreaser where required, allow the appropriate dwell time and wipe the loosened contamination from the surface.

For glass and polished surfaces, use a fresh towel free from grit and abrasive particles. Apply only a suitable cleaning product and use light, even pressure.

For food-area cleaning, follow the site’s hygiene plan. Use separately identified towels for each cleaning zone and replace the towel whenever cross-contamination may occur.

When disinfecting, apply an approved disinfectant in accordance with its label. Ensure that the entire surface remains wet for the specified contact time. A fresh towel may be required if the initial sheet becomes dirty or removes too much of the disinfectant solution.

Do not use towels near rotating, energised or moving equipment. Shut down, isolate and secure machinery before beginning cleaning.

Do not flush used towels down toilets or place them in sinks or drains. Dispose of each towel according to the substance it has collected.

Handling & Storage Advice

Store VISPER Multi-Purpose Towels in their original packaging in a clean, cool and dry area. Protect the pack from direct sunlight, rain, excessive humidity, chemical overspray and physical damage.

Keep unused towels away from oil mist, welding residue, grinding dust, metal swarf, food waste, cleaning chemicals and used wiping materials. Reseal or cover an opened pack where practical.

Store towels allocated to food-related or hygiene-controlled areas separately from workshop and washroom supplies. Clearly identify cleaning zones to reduce cross-contamination.

Wear appropriate gloves, protective clothing and eye protection when using the towels with oils, solvents, degreasers or other chemicals. Consult the Safety Data Sheet for the selected chemical before use.

Used towels may acquire the hazards of the collected substance. Towels contaminated with flammable solvent, oil or other combustible material may present a fire risk. Place them in an approved, correctly labelled waste container where required.

Keep contaminated towels away from heat, sparks, flames, hot surfaces and other ignition sources. Do not leave oil-soaked or solvent-soaked towels crumpled on benches, inside vehicles or close to operating equipment.

Do not reuse towels after contact with hazardous chemicals, biological contamination, raw-food residue or unknown substances. Do not use contaminated cleaning towels for personal hygiene.

Dispose of used towels according to local regulations, workplace procedures and the hazards of the collected material. Do not flush towels or allow them to enter drains, stormwater systems or waterways.
