Shell Omala S4 WE 220 is a high-performance, fully synthetic industrial gear oil formulated with polyalkylene glycol (PAG) base fluids and selected additives. It is designed primarily for heavy-duty worm gear drives operating under demanding conditions, offering excellent wear protection, high thermal and oxidation stability, and improved energy efficiency.

Important: Not recommended for components made from aluminium or aluminium alloys. For highly loaded spur and helical gears, Shell recommends its Omala G-series products.
Compatibility
Shell Omala S4 WE 220 is not miscible with mineral oils and many other synthetic lubricants. Before changing over, drain the existing lubricant and follow Shell’s recommended flushing and changeover procedure. Check seal and paint compatibility before use.
Storage, Health & Safety
Store in sealed, labelled containers in a cool, dry location. Avoid prolonged skin contact and follow the product Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Dispose of used oil through an authorised collection facility; do not discharge it into drains or the environment.
