Description
Product Description
FUCHS ECOCOOL 420 is a premium water-miscible semi-synthetic metalworking fluid specially developed for CNC machining, turning, milling, drilling, tapping, reaming, grinding, sawing, machining centres, transfer lines, and general metalworking operations involving alloy steels, carbon steels, stainless steels, aluminium alloys, brass, and copper. Formulated with advanced extreme pressure (EP) additives, it produces a highly stable milky emulsion that delivers excellent lubrication, outstanding cooling performance, superior corrosion protection, extended sump life, improved tool life, and excellent surface finish across a wide range of machining operations.
Features and Benefits
Excellent Lubricity
Advanced EP additive technology reduces friction during machining, extending tool life and improving machined surface quality.
Outstanding Cooling Performance
Provides excellent heat dissipation during heavy-duty machining, reducing thermal distortion and improving dimensional accuracy.
Superior Corrosion Protection
Protects machined components, machine tools and coolant systems against corrosion during operation and storage.
Stable Water Emulsion
Readily mixes with both hard and soft water to produce a highly stable milky emulsion with excellent resistance to separation.
Excellent Tool Life
High lubricity and EP performance reduce tool wear, helping increase productivity and lower machining costs.
Long Sump Life
Excellent biological and oxidation stability help extend coolant service life while reducing maintenance requirements.
Low Foam Characteristics
Designed to provide reliable performance in modern high-pressure coolant systems with good foam control.

Compatibility
FUCHS ECOCOOL 420 is suitable for most modern coolant systems and is compatible with conventional water-miscible machining fluids. For optimum performance, thoroughly clean the coolant system before filling with fresh emulsion. Always add ECOCOOL 420 to water during mixing—never water to concentrate.
Handling & Storage
Store in original sealed containers in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Protect from freezing and contamination. Maintain coolant concentration and cleanliness to maximise service life.
Health & Safety
Refer to the latest Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for detailed information regarding safe handling, storage, personal protective equipment, and disposal. ECOCOOL 420 is classified as hazardous under applicable GHS criteria and appropriate PPE should be used during handling.
