Product Description

Castrol CRB Mining 15W-40 CJ-4 is a low-SAPS heavy-duty diesel engine oil designed for mining, construction, earthmoving, agricultural and commercial diesel equipment, particularly heavy-duty four-stroke diesel engines operating under severe loads and demanding conditions. Its specialised applications include engines requiring API CJ-4 or earlier performance, including equipment fitted with diesel particulate filters (DPF), diesel particulate diffusers (DPD) or similar exhaust after-treatment systems. The formulation is designed to provide reliable engine protection, deposit control, wear protection and oil-life performance in demanding mining and off-highway environments.

Castrol's current successor, CRB Mining 15W-40 CK-4, retains the same SAE 15W-40 low-SAPS positioning but upgrades the performance level to API CK-4, while remaining suitable where API CJ-4 and below are required.

Storage
