Description
Product Description
Shell Gadus S3 T100 2 is a premium high-temperature industrial bearing grease formulated with a diurea thickener and mineral base oil. It is designed for industrial bearings operating at elevated temperatures, particularly where long service life, reduced relubrication frequency, wear protection and resistance to oxidation are important.
The grease is particularly suitable for lightly loaded industrial bearings operating at temperatures up to 160°C, subject to application conditions and appropriate relubrication intervals. It also provides good resistance to water washout and helps protect bearings against corrosion.

Key Benefits
-
High-temperature performance: Designed for continuous lubrication of industrial bearings at elevated temperatures.
-
Long grease life: Supports extended relubrication intervals under suitable operating conditions.
-
Wear protection: Helps protect bearing surfaces against wear.
-
Oxidation resistance: Helps maintain lubricant performance at high temperatures.
-
Mechanical stability: Diurea thickener technology helps the grease retain its consistency during service.
-
Water resistance: Good resistance to water washout by immersion or spray.
-
Corrosion protection: Helps protect bearing surfaces against corrosion.
Applications
-
Industrial rolling-element bearings
-
High-temperature industrial bearings
-
Steel and metal-processing equipment
-
Continuous-casting equipment
-
Industrial machinery requiring long relubrication intervals
-
Lightly loaded bearings exposed to elevated temperatures
Operating Temperature
-
Recommended upper operating temperature: approximately 160°C, depending on operating conditions and relubrication interval.
-
Some applications may permit temperatures up to 180°C with caution and suitably adjusted relubrication intervals, as stated in Shell's technical information.
Storage and Handlig
Store in the original sealed container in a clean, dry place. Protect the grease from water, dust and other contaminants. Avoid prolonged skin contact and consult the current Shell Safety Data Sheet for handling and disposal guidance.
