Marvell Moto 4T Super 10W-40 MA2/SN Motorcycle Oil 20L
Product Description
Marvell Moto 4T Super 10W-40 MA2/SN is a high-performance four-stroke motorcycle engine oil developed to provide dependable protection for motorcycle engines, integrated gearboxes and compatible wet or dry clutch systems. It combines ultra-shear-stable base oils with advanced titanium and ZDDP anti-wear technology to support reliable lubrication under the demanding temperatures, speeds and mechanical loads encountered in modern motorcycles.
Motorcycle lubricants must perform several demanding functions at the same time. In many motorcycles, one oil lubricates the engine, transmission and oil-immersed clutch. The lubricant must protect high-speed engine components, withstand the shearing action of transmission gears and maintain the correct friction characteristics for positive clutch engagement. A conventional passenger-car engine oil may not provide this combination of performance.
Marvell Moto 4T Super is formulated specifically for four-stroke motorcycle applications requiring SAE 10W-40, API SN and JASO MA2 performance. Its non-friction-modified formulation supports wet-clutch operation while providing the anti-wear, detergent, dispersant and oxidation-control performance required to protect engines and gearboxes.
The JASO MA2 performance level makes this lubricant suitable for compatible motorcycles requiring controlled friction characteristics for an oil-immersed wet clutch. It supports effective power transfer, predictable engagement and smooth clutch operation without the friction modifiers commonly used in certain passenger-car and scooter oils.
The advanced titanium additive and ZDDP system helps protect bearings, camshafts, valve-train components, pistons, rings, cylinder surfaces and gearbox components against wear. These technologies work together to strengthen protection in areas where high loads or elevated temperatures can reduce the thickness of the normal lubricating film.
The SAE 10W-40 viscosity grade provides effective oil circulation during cold starts while retaining dependable film strength at normal and elevated operating temperatures. This makes Marvell Moto 4T Super suitable for compatible air-cooled and liquid-cooled four-stroke motorcycles used for commuting, touring, recreational riding, sport riding, farming and off-road operation.
Supplied in a convenient 20-litre container, Marvell Moto 4T Super is an economical option for motorcycle workshops, service centres, dealerships, farms, riding schools, fleet operators and owners maintaining several compatible motorcycles, ATVs or quad bikes.

Key Features and Benefits
Titanium and ZDDP Anti-Wear Protection
Marvell Moto 4T Super uses a combination of titanium additive technology and ZDDP, commonly associated with zinc and phosphorus anti-wear protection.
These additives help form protective layers on heavily loaded metal surfaces when the normal oil film becomes thin. This can occur around camshafts, valve-train components, bearings, piston assemblies and transmission gears operating under high pressure or elevated temperature.
The titanium technology reinforces bearing and component protection, while the ZDDP system helps reduce scuffing and wear. The combined additive system supports durability in motorcycles exposed to frequent acceleration, high engine speeds, heavy loads and demanding operating temperatures.
JASO MA2 Wet-Clutch Performance
Many motorcycles use a wet clutch in which the clutch plates operate within the engine oil. The lubricant must allow controlled engagement while preventing unwanted slippage.
Marvell Moto 4T Super is non-friction-modified and provides JASO MA2 performance for compatible wet-clutch motorcycles. JASO MA2 represents the higher-friction portion of the JASO MA motorcycle classification and supports positive clutch engagement and effective power transfer.
The controlled friction characteristics can help provide smooth clutch operation, predictable engagement and efficient power delivery. This is particularly important during acceleration, hill climbing, towing, off-road riding and other operating conditions that place additional load on the clutch.
Oil cannot correct worn, glazed or incorrectly adjusted clutch components. Persistent clutch slippage, grabbing or difficult engagement should be mechanically investigated.
Gearbox Shear Stability
Motorcycle transmission gears can place intense mechanical stress on the lubricant. The meshing action of the gears may shear viscosity-modifying components, causing an unsuitable oil to become thinner during service.
Marvell Moto 4T Super incorporates ultra-shear-stable base oils designed to resist viscosity loss under gearbox operation. Maintaining the correct viscosity supports continued film strength between gear teeth, shafts, bearings and other transmission components.
Shear stability is also important for engine protection because many motorcycles use one oil for both the engine and gearbox. Excessive viscosity loss can affect lubrication across the entire shared system.
Engine and Gearbox Protection
The formulation provides balanced protection for motorcycles in which the engine and transmission share the same lubricant. Anti-wear additives protect highly loaded components, while the viscosity characteristics maintain an oil film across a wide range of operating temperatures.
The oil helps protect engine bearings, camshafts, valve-train components, pistons, rings and cylinder surfaces. Within the gearbox, it supports protection for gear teeth, bearings, shafts and selector components.
This combined performance makes Marvell Moto 4T Super suitable for motorcycles requiring one lubricant to perform reliably across the engine, clutch and gearbox.
High-Temperature Performance
Four-stroke motorcycle engines may operate at high temperatures, particularly during slow traffic, sport riding, off-road use, hill climbing and hot-weather operation. Air-cooled engines may experience substantial temperature variation because cooling depends heavily on vehicle speed and ambient airflow.
Marvell Moto 4T Super is formulated to maintain protection at elevated temperatures and resist excessive oxidation. Oxidation can cause oil thickening, acidity, varnish and sludge formation.
The SAE 40 high-temperature viscosity helps maintain a dependable lubricating film when the engine reaches operating temperature. This supports component protection and oil-pressure stability where SAE 10W-40 is specified.
Cold-Start Circulation
The SAE 10W winter rating supports effective cranking and oil circulation during cold starts. Prompt oil flow helps deliver lubricant to bearings, camshafts, valve-train components and cylinder surfaces while the engine is warming.
Operators should still avoid applying immediate high engine speed or heavy load after starting a cold motorcycle. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended starting and warm-up procedure.
Smooth Gear Shifting
The combination of controlled clutch friction, stable viscosity and dependable gearbox lubrication can support smoother gear selection and more consistent transmission operation.
The oil helps reduce excessive friction between moving gearbox components while maintaining the grip required by compatible wet-clutch plates. This can contribute to predictable clutch engagement and efficient power transfer.
Gear-shift quality also depends on clutch adjustment, transmission condition, chain adjustment, riding technique and mechanical design. The correct oil supports the system but cannot repair worn or damaged components.
Deposit and Sludge Control
Motorcycle engines can generate deposits through high-temperature operation, fuel contamination and oxidation. Sludge and varnish may restrict oil circulation, interfere with piston-ring movement and affect internal component performance.
Marvell Moto 4T Super contains detergent and dispersant additives that help minimise deposits and keep contaminants suspended in the oil. Suspended contaminants can then be removed during the scheduled oil and filter change.
Maintaining engine cleanliness supports effective oil circulation, piston-ring function and long-term lubrication performance.
Rust and Corrosion Protection
Motorcycle engines can be exposed to moisture from condensation, storage, temperature changes and combustion by-products. Internal moisture may contribute to rust and corrosion when the motorcycle is operated infrequently or stored for extended periods.
Marvell Moto 4T Super contains corrosion-control additives that help protect internal metal surfaces. Motorcycles placed into seasonal or long-term storage may require additional preservation procedures recommended by the manufacturer.
Suitable for On-Road and Off-Road Operation
The balanced formulation is suitable for compatible motorcycles used on highways, suburban roads, farms, dirt tracks and off-road trails.
Off-road motorcycles and quad bikes may experience dust, high loads, slow operating speeds, repeated acceleration and elevated temperatures. Oil levels, air filters and service intervals should be inspected more frequently under these severe conditions.
Practical 20-Litre Pack
The 20-litre container is suitable for workshops and other users servicing multiple motorcycles. It reduces the quantity of small containers required and supports controlled dispensing with a clean, dedicated pump or tap.
The container should remain securely closed between uses to protect the oil from dust, moisture, fuel, coolant and other workshop contamination.

Handling & Storage Advice
Store Marvell Moto 4T Super 10W-40 in its original, correctly labelled container. Keep the container upright, securely closed and protected from physical damage.
Store the product under cover in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area. Protect it from direct sunlight, rain, excessive heat, ignition sources, strong oxidising agents and contamination. The storage temperature should not exceed 60°C.
Do not allow water, fuel, coolant, brake fluid, cleaning chemicals, dirt or used oil to enter the container. Use clean, dedicated dispensing equipment to maintain lubricant cleanliness.
Avoid prolonged or repeated skin contact with new or used engine oil. Suitable protective equipment may include oil-resistant gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses, depending on the workplace risk assessment.
Wash exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after handling the lubricant. Do not use petrol, solvents, abrasive cleaners or contaminated workshop rags to remove oil from the skin.
Clean spills promptly because engine oil can create a serious slip hazard. Contain spilled material using suitable absorbent products and prevent it from entering drains, soil, stormwater systems or waterways.
A full 20-litre container is heavy. Assess the load before lifting and use assisted lifting or suitable mechanical handling equipment when required. Do not attempt to lift or carry the container if it cannot be handled safely.
Send used oil, contaminated absorbents and empty packaging to an authorised lubricant-recycling or waste-management service. Do not burn empty packaging or expose it to flame. Consult the current Safety Data Sheet before workplace use.
Directions for Use
Before use, consult the motorcycle owner’s manual and confirm that SAE 10W-40, API SN and JASO MA or MA2 are suitable for the engine, gearbox and clutch system.
Warm the engine according to the manufacturer’s service procedure. Switch off the engine and secure the motorcycle on an appropriate stand before draining the oil.
Used engine oil can be extremely hot. Wear suitable protective equipment and take care when removing the drain plug, oil filter and filler cap.
Drain the used lubricant into a suitable collection container. Replace the drain-plug sealing washer where required and tighten the plug to the manufacturer’s specified torque.
Replace the oil filter at the required interval using the correct filter. Add Marvell Moto 4T Super gradually through the designated filler opening. Add slightly less than the stated capacity before checking the oil level.
Start the engine and allow the lubricant to circulate while inspecting the filter, drain plug and related components for leakage. Switch off the engine, allow the oil to settle and recheck the level according to the manufacturer’s procedure.
Do not overfill the engine. Both insufficient and excessive oil levels can cause operational problems or engine damage.
Follow the motorcycle manufacturer’s recommended service interval. Racing, competition, dusty off-road use, frequent short trips, extensive idling, repeated high-speed operation and severe temperatures may require shorter oil-change intervals.
Do not extend the service interval solely because a high-performance oil is being used. Avoid mixing the product with unknown motorcycle oils because the mixture’s final viscosity, clutch-friction performance and overall specification may become uncertain.
