Marvell EasyCut 68 is a heavy, transparent, non-emulsifying cutting oil developed for machining ferrous metals in applications that specifically require a high-viscosity neat oil. Its ISO VG 68 viscosity provides a substantial lubricating film between the cutting tool, workpiece and chip, helping reduce friction and support consistent machining under suitable operating conditions.

The product is intended for specialised cutting operations where a lighter cutting oil may not provide the required oil-film thickness or retention. A high-viscosity cutting oil may not be appropriate for very high spindle speeds, small oil passages, mist-lubrication systems or equipment fitted with pumps designed for low-viscosity fluids. Handling & Storage Advice

Store Marvell EasyCut 68 in its original, correctly labelled 20-litre container. Keep the cap securely closed and store the container upright in a cool, dry and well-ventilated location.

Protect the product from direct sunlight, rain, excessive heat, ignition sources, sparks, hot work and physical damage.

Do not allow water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, slideway oil, solvent, cleaning chemicals, dirt, dust, swarf or used lubricant to enter the container.

Use clean and dedicated pumps, hoses, funnels and dispensing equipment. Equipment contaminated with water or another metalworking fluid can reduce the product’s non-emulsifying performance.

A full 20-litre container is heavy. Assess the load before lifting and use assisted lifting, team lifting or suitable mechanical handling equipment where required. Do not attempt to lift or carry the full container if it cannot be handled safely.

Directions for Use

Marvell EasyCut 68 is designed to be used neat. Do not dilute it with water.

Before initial filling, confirm that the machine-tool manufacturer permits an ISO VG 68 non-emulsifying cutting oil.

Check that the pump, pipes, hoses, filters and nozzles are capable of handling the product’s relatively high viscosity.

Where changing from another cutting fluid, drain and clean the machine sump, pipes and filtration system as required. Remove water, sludge, chips and incompatible lubricant residue.

Fill the machine to the recommended operating level using clean transfer equipment.

Direct the oil flow toward the cutting edge and tool–workpiece interface. The flow must be sufficient to lubricate the contact area and remove heat and chips.

During initial operation, monitor pump load, oil flow, oil temperature, tool wear, surface finish and chip removal.

If oil delivery is slow or inadequate, check the pump capacity, filter condition, hose diameter and oil temperature. Do not assume that increasing the machine speed will improve circulation.
