Description
FUCHS FRICOFIN MP 50 is a premium, ready-to-use engine coolant based on monoethylene glycol, formulated to provide freeze protection, heat-transfer performance and corrosion protection in automotive and off-highway cooling systems.
The green coolant is free from 2-EHA, silicates and nitrites. It is designed to protect cooling-system metals, particularly aluminium, against corrosion and cavitation, while helping prevent freezing and overheating. It provides frost protection down to −37°C.
Features and Benefits
-
Freeze protection: Protects cooling systems against freezing down to −37°C.
-
Overheating protection: Supports effective heat transfer under demanding operating conditions.
-
Corrosion protection: Protects metals used in engine cooling systems, particularly aluminium.
-
Cavitation protection: Helps protect highly loaded engine components from cavitation damage.
-
2-EHA-free formulation: Formulated without 2-ethylhexanoic acid (2-EHA).
-
Silicate-free and nitrite-free: Suitable for applications requiring these exclusions.
-
Ready-to-use premix: Supplied pre-diluted for direct use according to the vehicle or equipment manufacturer's instructions.
Applications
-
Passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
-
Heavy-duty trucks and buses.
-
Agricultural and forestry equipment.
-
Construction and off-highway machinery.
-
Mining and industrial equipment.
-
Stationary engines and power-generation equipment, where the coolant specification permits.

Storage and Handling
-
Store in the original, sealed container in a cool, dry and well-ventilated area.
-
Keep the product away from contamination.
-
Follow the equipment manufacturer's coolant filling and maintenance instructions.
-
Do not mix with other coolant technologies unless compatibility is confirmed.
-
Keep out of reach of children and prevent spills from reaching drains or waterways.
Health and Safety
Consult the current Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before handling. Engine coolant containing ethylene glycol can be harmful if swallowed. Avoid ingestion and prolonged contact, wear suitable protective equipment and clean up spills promptly. Dispose of used coolant through an authorised waste-management service.
Product Category
Premium ready-to-use monoethylene glycol engine coolant — green, with frost protection to −37°C.
Main Applications
Automotive cooling systems, heavy-duty diesel engines, agricultural machinery, construction equipment and other off-highway applications requiring a compatible, pre-mixed coolant with protection down to −37°C.
Important: FRICOFIN MP 50 is a premix, not the concentrate version FRICOFIN MP. Do not dilute it further unless the equipment manufacturer's instructions specifically require it.
