Product Description
Castrol Axle AP 85W-140 is a high quality, mineral-based gear oil formulated for use under demanding operating conditions. It is designed for differentials, final drives, non-synchronized manual transmissions, steering gears, and other applications that require a gear oil with API GL-5 performance and extreme pressure (EP) protection. It resists thermal degradation and maintains protective film strength even under high loads, helping reduce wear and extending component life.
This product replaces the older “EPX 85W-140” line under the Axle AP label.
Applications

Conventional differentials in passenger cars, light trucks and heavy-duty trucks.
