Product Description

Castrol ALPHASYN PG 150 is a premium, extreme‑pressure gear and bearing oil based on polyalkylene glycol (PAG) synthetic technology. It provides excellent load‑carrying capacity, lubricity, and thermal stability for industrial gearboxes, bearings, and many other mechanical systems requiring high performance synthetic lubricants.

Designed for applications where conventional mineral oils fail to provide adequate protection and long service life, ALPHASYN PG fluids deliver superior performance in severe operating conditions such as high loads, shock loading, and elevated temperatures.

Applications

• Industrial gearboxes and reducers operating under heavy loads

• Plain and rolling bearings subject to high contact stresses

• Circulating systems requiring synthetic lubricants

• Applications where high load‑carrying and wear protection are critical

• Systems where mineral oils are insufficient due to temperature or load

Not suitable for systems specifying AGMA EP (mineral) oils unless the use of PAG is confirmed by OEM.
