Product Description
Castrol ALPHASYN HTX 1000 is a premium ISO VG 1000 fully synthetic PAO (polyalphaolefin) high-temperature gear lubricant designed for heavy industrial gearboxes, slow-speed enclosed gears, high-temperature bearings, circulating lubrication systems, steel mills, cement plants, mining equipment, and heavy industrial machinery operating under severe thermal conditions. This synthetic industrial gear oil provides outstanding thermal stability, excellent oxidation resistance, high viscosity performance, and reliable wear protection for equipment requiring extended lubricant life and high-temperature operation.
Castrol ALPHASYN HTX 1000 is formulated with advanced PAO synthetic base fluids and sulphur/phosphorus extreme pressure (EP) additive technology to provide excellent load-carrying capability, reduced friction, and superior protection compared with conventional mineral oils. Its high viscosity and excellent viscosity-temperature characteristics make it suitable for high-temperature circulating systems and light to medium-duty enclosed gear applications where extended drain intervals and reliable lubrication are required. It is not recommended for heavily shock-loaded gear systems.
