Product Description
CASTROL ALPHASYN EP 680 is a premium fully synthetic industrial gear lubricant based on Polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic base fluids combined with sulphur/phosphorus Extreme Pressure (EP) additive technology. It is designed for heavy-duty enclosed gear systems, shock-loaded gears, mining equipment, quarry machinery, marine applications, paper production equipment, and industrial gearboxes operating under severe conditions.
The PAO synthetic base provides a high viscosity index, excellent low-temperature performance, superior oxidation resistance, and extended oil life, while the EP additive system delivers high load-carrying capacity and protection against gear tooth wear, scuffing, and micropitting.
