CASTROL ALPHASYN™ EP 1500 is a premium fully synthetic industrial gear oil based on Polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic fluids with sulphur/phosphorus Extreme Pressure (EP) additive technology. It is specially developed for heavy-duty enclosed gear systems, dragline swing boxes, mining equipment, quarry machinery, large industrial gearboxes, and heavily loaded bearings operating under severe conditions. The advanced formulation provides excellent thermal stability, high load-carrying capacity, superior wear protection, reduced friction losses, and extended equipment service life.
The combination of high viscosity index PAO base oil and EP additive technology allows ALPHASYN EP 1500 to maintain strong lubricant film strength at elevated temperatures while providing reliable protection against shock loads, gear tooth wear, and micropitting damage.
