Overview

Castrol Spheerol EPLX 200-2 is a premium multipurpose grease designed for demanding industrial and mobile applications. Based on high-quality mineral oil and a lithium-complex thickener, this NLGI 2 grade grease offers exceptional high-temperature performance, strong load-carrying capacity, and excellent resistance to wear, corrosion and oxidation. It is suitable for grease-lubricated plain and rolling bearings, particularly in heavily loaded, vibratory or high-temperature environments.

• Mobile equipment pivot points, clearance joints, universal joints, and carrier bearings

• Electric motor bearings, fan bearings, blower units, and ventilation equipment under elevated temperature conditions

• Industrial gearboxes or bearing housings where high film strength, load capacity and elevated temperature resistance are required

• Any application where a lithium-complex grease with high EP, long life and thermal endurance is preferred

Handling & Storage Advice

• Store containers in a clean, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, extreme temperature fluctuations and moisture.

• Keep the lid or drum sealed when not in use to prevent contamination from water, dust or other greases.

• Use clean dispensing equipment (grease guns, pumps) dedicated to this grease to avoid cross-contamination.

• Before application, clean lubrication points to remove old grease, debris or contaminants to maximise performance.

• Wear suitable personal protective equipment when handling grease and refer to the relevant Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for detailed safety guidance.

• Dispose of used grease, containers and packaging in accordance with local environmental regulations and authorised waste-management practices.
