Product Description

Castrol Magnatec C3 5W-40 is a high performance engine oil formulated to meet the needs of modern petrol and diesel engines (including those with after-treatment systems such as Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF)). It uses Castrol’s Magnatec “intelligent molecules” that cling to critical engine parts, offering protection especially during warm-up and when starting the engine. The “C3” formulation indicates lower SAPS (Sulphated Ash, Phosphorus, Sulphur), helping protect emissions systems.

Applications

• Suitable for petrol and diesel (turbocharged & naturally aspirated) engines, particularly those with modern emission after-treatment systems (DPF / catalysts).

• Recommended where manufacturer requires ACEA C3, API SN (or later) and OEM specs listed in Approvals.
